Why choose a serviced office environment? PBS Workspace Head of Operations Sylvie Le Bihan outlines the benefits

The PBS Group, which celebrates its 45th year this year, is delighted to announce the expansion of its PBS Workspace serviced office division. PBS Workspace has seen an unprecedented demand for this type of working environment since it was established in 2016. Head of Operations Sylvie Le Bihan outlines the benefits.

Where is PBS Workspace located?
Our PBS Workspace central office is located within our PBS Group headquarters at One Liberty Place in the heart of St Helier’s business district. Due to demand, we will be opening our premier offering on the first floor of IFC5, which will more than double our suites available for flexible rent.

What services does PBS Workspace provide?
We offer flexible, contemporary, furnished business suites of varying sizes for start-up businesses, as well as established ones. We also offer business lounge membership passes, hot-desking facilities, a telephone call answering service and meeting and boardroom hire with telephone conferencing, as well as business event hosting in our light and spacious business lounge. Our experienced front of house team operate as a concierge service. They are available to support residents with appointment booking, lunch orders, secretarial services and, much more. Our residents enjoy 24/7 building access.

What makes PBS Workspace different to other local providers?
We host regular networking events for our residents to meet and share ideas. Our residents also benefit from the wider range of PBS Group services which include print management solutions, office supplies and interiors and a creative design and bureau service. Workspace is a collaborative community where businesses can choose to operate independently or connect with each other.

What are the benefits and why should businesses consider this new concept?
Serviced offices provide certainty about outgoings and typically allow more flexible rental terms, without having to meet substantial covenant requirements or take on a long-term lease. A serviced office licence is usually from six months to three years and allows the licensee to expand or contract as their business dictates, rather than be locked in to a fixed office location and size for nine years.

Furthermore, other services included within the rental are utilities, cleaning and maintenance and in addition, the provision of a reception saves on both the staff costs associated therewith and the management time lost in providing cover for lunch, holidays and sickness.

How do I go about moving to a PBS Workspace serviced business suite?
Businesses can arrange a viewing by contacting Head of Operations, Sylvie Le Bihan on 01534 752900 or sylvie@pbsworkspace.co. With our IFC5 offering, businesses have the opportunity to work with the team to design a bespoke suite suited to their exact requirements. A mood board, plans and finishes are available to view at our One Liberty Place business lounge.
